Job summary

A renewable energy services company is seeking an Electrical Field Engineer to support a utility-scale wind farm project in New York State. This position offers a W-2 contract starting in late February 2026, overseeing the installation of electrical systems and providing critical project support. Candidates should have 2+ years of utility-scale construction experience, especially in renewable energy. Competitive per diem and comprehensive benefits are included after a waiting period.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience on utility-scale construction projects; experience in Renewable Energy preferred.
• Prior experience with underground medium-voltage electrical collection system.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation of the electrical collection system.
• Monitor production rates and provide daily production reports.
• Assist in completion of monthly cost reports.
• Review current and projected costs with project superintendents.
• Prepare and submit RFIs.
• Assist with project schedule.
