Qualifications

  • Required knowledge and skills include Working-at-Heights, Lock-Out Tag-Out, Electrical Safety, Basic Electrical, Basic Mechanical, Basic Hydraulics, Rigging, CPR/First-Aid, Confined Space and Self-Rescue.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience in a wind energy educational setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Teach state-approved courses in Wind Energy Technology.
  • Instruct students using competency-based curriculum and current instructional strategies.
  • Maintain attendance, progress, and grades as required by policy.
  • Assist in recruitment and student retention efforts.
  • Develop curriculum and instructional materials; oversee lab and equipment.
