Qualifications

• Verifiable work experience as a Wind technician.
• Fundamentals of direct current and related circuits.
• Ohm's law and related formulas.
• Circuit analysis techniques.
• Wind farm design strategies.
• Safety at height.
• Fundamentals of alternating current.
• Series and parallel AC components.
• Working knowledge of digital electronics, logic gates, and numbering systems.
• Wind turbine components and systems.
• SCADA systems.
• Working knowledge of PLCs.
• Application of motors, controllers, and sensors in wind turbine circuits.
• Troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Rigging.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver high quality instruction and facilitate the learning of students.
• Develop syllabi and instructional plans, and organize daily classes.
• Integrate technology to enrich educational experiences.
• Mentor students and provide constructive feedback.
• Coordinate with departments for recruitment and program planning.
