Job summary

Vestas in Windsor, CO seeks a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You will translate business goals into actionable plans, coach hourly staff, and ensure production targets are met while maintaining data integrity in manufacturing systems.

The role emphasizes Lean practices, 5S, strong teamwork, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver world-class results in a fast-paced wind blades environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in manufacturing or related environment.
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced production setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong communication, coaching, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, 5S; root cause analysis
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
• Coordinate shifts, workforce planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Monitor performance, identify barriers, and adjust plans to maintain flow.
• Ensure data integrity and accurate reporting in manufacturing systems.
• Develop hourly employees and team leads through coaching and reviews.
• Lead Lean, 5S, and structured problem-solving to reduce waste and improve metrics.
• Communicate priorities clearly and partner with Planning, Maintenance, Quality, and HR.
