Job summary

TPI Composites, Inc. in Scottsdale, AZ, seeks an experienced Senior Engineer to lead wind blade composites initiatives, support NPI, and drive improvements across manufacturing, quality and operations.

You will collaborate with program management, engineering and production to resolve design ambiguities, implement DFM, PFMEA, and change control, and mentor engineering staff on best practices.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering required.
• Minimum 7 years related composites experience with 5 years wind blade experience in a lead engineering role.
• Engineering drawing literacy and tolerance appreciation.
• Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Verbal and written fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in wind blade manufacturing and NPI.
• Interface with program management, GTPM, quality, engineering and production to resolve design issues and ambiguities.
• Support new product introduction as part of a multidisciplinary team and drive improvements.
• Drive process improvements to reduce risk and increase profitability across operations.
• Mentor engineering resources and develop global standards and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement and product transfers between sites.
