Job description

Title: Primer Centerfire Cap Operator

Type: Hourly

Location: East Alton, IL

Salary: $25.65/hour

Schedule: Rotating Weekly 3 Shifts (R/3)

Centerfire Cap Operator Essential Job Functions:

• Assembles, inspects, and packages very small components.
• Scoops cups onto plates, assembles cup plates to anvil plates, places in press, and lacquers primer caps.
• Examines product for defects, ensures quality process is followed.
• Adheres to all safety requirements including lockout/tagout and wearing required PPE.

Centerfire Cap Operator Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Flexibility to work weekends and forced overtime.

Location-Specific Requirements:

• Successful vetting as an Employee Possessor per U.S. Department of Justice and ATF regulations.
• Access to ITAR-controlled technical data, contingent upon obtaining necessary export licenses.
