National Tank & Equipment (NTE) is seeking a Winch Truck Driver in Freeport, TX. The role involves safely operating a winch truck to transport, load, unload, and position frac tanks and related rental equipment, with emphasis on safety and precision.

Ideal candidates have a Valid Class A CDL, winch experience, TWIC eligibility, and a clean driving record. Local day trips with home daily expectations are typical.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Previous winch truck experience required.
• TWIC card required where assigned or ability to obtain.
• Demonstrated winch operation, specialized loading, positioning, and vehicle-control skills.
• Clean, acceptable driving record and ability to meet site-access requirements.
• Strong judgment, situational awareness, and safety discipline.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate the winch truck to load, unload, and position frac tanks safely.
• Inspect the work area, equipment condition, ground conditions, and clearances before movement.
• Complete deliveries, pickups, and branch transfers according to dispatch instructions.
• Navigate refineries, plants, jobsites, and customer locations with awareness of surroundings.
• Complete required pre-trip, post-trip, DOT, delivery, and equipment inspections.
