Job summary

Gravity in Artesia, NM seeks a Winch Truck Operator 1 to load and move frac tanks, mud tanks, and pits using a mechanical winch. You may also operate a flatbed trailer to transport equipment within the work area.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A license, 21+ years old, and at least one year of driving experience, with strong safety and DOT compliance. Basic mechanical skills and ability to lift 50+ lbs are required.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• High School or GED completed.
• Must be 21+ years old and able to maintain insurability with company insurance.
• At least 1 year of driving experience.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds.
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Operates winch truck and loads/unloads equipment using winches and chains, straps, and booms.
• Performs pre/post trip inspections and maintains logbooks as required by DOT.
• Drives to loading/unloading locations within the work area.
• Ensures vehicle and equipment safety and compliance with company and DOT requirements.
• Maintains hours-of-service documentation and on-call communication as needed.
• Adheres to all safety policies and completes monthly safety trainings.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
