Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is looking for a Windows 11 Build and Deploy Consultant for a 6+ month contract. This role is 100% onsite in Allentown, PA. The candidate must be willing to travel to local offices.

Key Tasks:

  1. Configures computers for Windows 11 upgrade/replacement following checklist(s) required to ensure customer satisfaction and data/application accuracy.
  2. Deploys new computers to end-user, reclaims old computer(s) and updates asset management inventory data to reflect changes.
  3. Provides on-site technical support that requires creative problem-solving, using a consultative approach to end users on a variety of issues including but not limited to, computer hardware and software, security and network connectivity.
  4. Identifies, researches, resolves technical problems and possesses a thorough understanding of the products or services being offered.
  5. Configure, deliver, install, and validate technical equipment as requested.
  6. Perform on-site troubleshooting and diagnostics of hardware and software.
  7. Identify, research, and resolve technical problems.
  8. Communicates information in a timely, accurate and concise manner that fosters a collaborative environment.
  9. Maintains inventory records of hardware and peripherals.

REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Intricate knowledge of the use of mobile devices, networking, personal computers, printers, and computer terminology.
  2. Knowledge of network protocols, computer hardware/software and peripherals.
  3. Attention to detail and ability to analyze and solve technical problems.
  4. Interpersonal and customer service skills as well as being self-motivated.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
