Interstate Engineering is seeking a senior leader to guide operations for our Williston office, blending technical insight with office leadership. You will oversee daily operations, support project delivery, and strengthen client relationships across western North Dakota.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, business administration, or related field.
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain within six months; strong background in engineering, construction, or project-based services.
• 10+ years of experience in engineering, construction, or professional services with progressive operations/office leadership responsibilities.
• Proven ability to lead teams, coordinate projects, and support cross-functional collaboration with engineers and technical staff.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, accounts payable/receivable, and project financial tracking.
• Knowledge of project-based workflows: proposals, contracts, scheduling, deliverables.
• Excellent communication skills with clients, technical staff, and leadership.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with engineering or project-management software.

• Support recruitment, onboarding, and development to strengthen Williston office growth.
