Job description

**Job Description**

Schedule: Monday-Friday, hours between 2am - 7am start times, 10-12 hrs daily

Pay: Average weekly pay between $1100 and $1400 gross

Benefits: 2 weeks vacation

Requirements:

  • Driver must reside in a defined hiring area
  • Willing to drive at various hours and nights
  • Ability to deliver to all Tyson locations and customer locations as required
  • Compliance with all FMCSA regulations, including Section 391.11
  • Pass DOT urine and hair follicle tests
  • Verifiable CDL B experience: 9 months in last 12 months or 12 months in last 3 years
  • No recent preventable accidents or DUI/DWI/OUI convictions
  • No positive DOT drug/alcohol tests in last 3 years
  • Maximum of 8 driving jobs in last 3 years
  • Maximum of 3 terminations from Tyson Foods in last 3 years

Physical Demands & Work Environment: Must use safe lifting techniques, operate CMV and trailer doors, and recognize alerts from industrial equipment. Work may be on wet, slippery, hot, dry, dusty, or cold surfaces. PPE such as hearing protection, reflective vests, and closed-toed shoes are required.

Safety: Follow all safety policies, identify and mitigate risks, and receive training on safety procedures.
