Job summary

GPC is seeking a warehouse associate in a fast-paced environment to pull will-call and special orders for jobbers. You will maintain stockroom organization, verify order accuracy, and assist with safety and loss-prevention practices.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 6 months of experience, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Flexible hours including weekends may be required, and you must pass a drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months prior work experience.
• Working knowledge of the stockroom.
• Ability to work in a fast paced setting and remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to communicate with customers, supervisors, and Will Call employees.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Flexible hours including weekends/holidays as needed.
• Able to pass drug screen and background check.
• Strong customer relation skills.

Responsibilities

• Pulls will call orders for jobbers and prepares special orders accurately.
• Ensures shrinkage is minimized through proper processes and procedures.
• Checks orders for accuracy and reports discrepancies.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the area.
• Completes all prerequisite training and demonstrates required duties.
