Job summary

Peachtree Pest Control, an Anticimex company, is seeking a Wildlife Technician to perform wildlife and rodent inspections, exclusions, trapping, and pest control treatments across Georgia. You will engage customers, provide expert service, and help resolve wildlife concerns while promoting safer, healthier environments for homes and businesses.

You will meet customers, present solutions, and maintain records with a focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Comfortable using computers, smartphones, tablets, and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

Meet with prospective customers, conduct inspections, prepare proposals, present solutions, and close new business opportunities.
Perform wildlife, rodent, and pest inspections and services for bees, wasps, bed bugs, fleas, and other pests.
Diagnose and resolve wildlife and pest issues using approved methods and best practices.
Create and interpret property diagrams and explain service recommendations.
Review service agreements and collect payments when necessary.
Perform wildlife exclusion work to prevent future infestations.
Conduct live trap and snap trap inspections, maintenance, and removal.
Educate customers on pest and wildlife prevention measures.

What You'll Do

As a Wildlife Technician, you will provide exceptional customer service while performing wildlife and rodent inspections, exclusions, trapping services, and pest control treatments. You will help customers resolve wildlife and pest concerns while creating healthier environments for homes and businesses.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Meet with prospective customers, conduct inspections, prepare proposals, present solutions, and close new business opportunities.
Perform wildlife, rodent, and pest inspections and services, including services related to bees, wasps, bed bugs, fleas, and other nuisance pests.
Diagnose and resolve wildlife and pest issues using company-approved methods and industry best practices.
Create and interpret property diagrams and explain service recommendations and treatment plans to customers.
Review service agreements and contracts with customers and collect payments when necessary.
Perform wildlife exclusion work to prevent future infestations.
Conduct live trap and snap trap inspections, maintenance, and removal.
Educate customers on pest and wildlife prevention measures.
Deliver outstanding customer service while building long-term customer relationships.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a safe and professional manner.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
Attend required meetings, training sessions, and certification programs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Ability to work a flexible schedule Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

To perform the essential functions of this position, employees must be able to:

Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Climb up and down ladders safely and confidently.
Safely carry, position, and climb ladders while performing service duties.
Bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach overhead, and maintain mobility throughout the workday.
Work in confined spaces, including crawl spaces, attics, and other restricted-access areas.
Access rooftops, attics, crawl spaces, and other elevated or confined areas as required.
Stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods.
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, humidity, and other seasonal conditions.
Frequently lift and handle equipment and materials above shoulder level.
Operate a company vehicle and drive an established service route for extended periods.
Safely use hand tools, application equipment, traps, and other job-related devices.
Maintain visual acuity necessary to inspect, identify, and address wildlife and pest-related issues.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, company-provided footwear, and other safety equipment as required.
Complete required medical evaluations, including respirator clearance evaluations when applicable.
Comply with all company safety requirements and perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
