Join to apply for the Wildlife Repair/Exclusion Technician role at Critter Control

Critter Control Operations is seeking a skilled and dedicated Wildlife Exclusion/Repair Service Technician to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the safe and effective exclusion of wildlife from residential and commercial properties, along with performing necessary repairs to prevent future intrusions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction or related fields, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to responsible nuisance wildlife management.

Responsibilities
  • Perform interior and exterior inspections of customer properties, including roofs, attics, crawlspaces, and other confined spaces to identify wildlife entry points and vulnerabilities.
  • Install preventative exclusion materials such as screens, chimney caps, vent covers, and barriers.
  • Conduct minor repairs to roofs, siding, foundations, and other areas where wildlife may gain entry.
  • Utilize trapping and relocation techniques to safely remove wildlife.
  • Maintain accurate records of services, materials, and customer interactions.
  • Provide detailed reports and review work with customers.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address ongoing concerns.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Experience in construction, carpentry, roofing, or related fields.
  • Ability to work independently in the field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with software; experience with Salesforce is a plus.
Work Environment

Candidates must be physically capable of performing job duties safely with or without reasonable accommodations. Duties include driving, walking, standing, working outdoors in various weather conditions, climbing stairs and ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

  • Hourly rate of $17-$19 + production commission
  • Estimated annual earnings: $45,000-$60,000
