Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s degree in wildlife, animal science, or related field.
• Fluency in English required.
• Ability to work varied hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Commitment to a consecutive 12-week internship.
• Previous animal care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide animal care including feeding, enrichment, training, observation, and basic medical support.
• Engage guests through Animal Ambassador Encounters, tours, and education about animals and conservation.
• Maintain habitats through enclosure cleaning and facility upkeep.
• Record animal care data and adhere to established care protocols.
• Support wildlife operations through scheduling, transport, and guest assistance.
