Qualifications

• GW-07: One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-6.
• Education may substitute with graduate level coursework directly related to the position.
• Experience mobilizing/demobilizing resources including personnel, equipment, and aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Implements standard mobilization procedures for firefighting resources.
• Dispatches resources to incidents based on priorities within the Geographic Area.
• Maintains mobilization plans and dispatch operating guides.
• Coordinates supply of personnel, equipment, aircraft, and fire retardant.
• Monitors daily fire situation and resource availability to support decisions.
