Job summary

Stanford University’s Land, Buildings & Real Estate is seeking a Wildfire Resilience Program Manager to lead the wildfire resilience program, SRER operations, and coordination with vendors, consultants, and campus stakeholders. Onsite presence is required four or more days per week on Stanford's campus in Palo Alto.

You will develop documentation, emergency action plans, and training, while ensuring safety, environmental, and cultural sensitivities.

Qualifications

  • Ability to provide tactical and strategic support to complex projects.
  • Strong safety focus for Stanford community and vendors.
  • Fundamental understanding of GIS and mapping tools.
  • Willingness to operate forklift and refuel emergency generators; quick to learn new software.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Wildfire Resilience Program Manager and lead projects.
  • Manage vendors, contracts, PO, invoices and access to properties.
  • Lead meetings with internal stakeholders to drive initiatives.
  • Coordinate with consultants; ensure documentation and innovation.
  • Support emergency response operations and training.
  • Develop emergency action plans and manage communications.
  • Support facility directors communications.
