Job summary

The State of California's Public Utilities Commission invites applications for a Program and Project Supervisor. Under the general direction of the Program Manager, you will supervise a multi-disciplinary staff, coordinate with Safety Policy Division and other state agencies, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality policy and technical documents.

Qualifications

• Five years of supervisory or project management experience.
• Experience with policy, laws, or regulations.
• Strong data analysis and statistics knowledge.
• Experience briefing materials and presentations.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise planning and coordination of a multi-disciplinary staff.
• Coordinate with Safety Policy Division sections, Commission divisions, and state agencies.
• Oversee creation of resolutions ratifying wildfire mitigation plans and other policy matters.
• Prepare briefing materials and present policy and technical recommendations to Commissioners and executives.
• Lead development and implementation of data-driven policy analyses.
