Role and Responsibilities

1. Provide process-related support for the molding department to achieve robust manufacturing processes, including injection molding, thermoforming, extrusion, painting, or CNC workstations.
2. Improve manufacturing processes to maintain efficiency, reduce costs, enhance sustainability, and maximize profitability.
3. Ensure jobs are set up to produce quality parts.
4. Review Plant Intelligence Center monitors to prioritize mold changes and monitor quality and efficiency.
5. Set up and start machines following process setup sheets, ensuring products meet customer standards.
6. Set up secondary equipment and fixtures.
7. Investigate and determine necessary machine adjustments to ensure quality, reduce scrap, improve efficiency, or resolve production issues.
8. Provide finished products for first and tenth part approval.
9. Complete documentation for all work, including creating or modifying process setup sheets.
10. Assist in training operators on machine and secondary equipment operation.
11. Perform minor machine repairs or maintenance and communicate issues to supervisors or maintenance teams.
12. Tag molds for tooling enhancements or repairs.
13. Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
14. Follow all safety rules and regulations, including Lock Out Tag Out procedures, and maintain a neat work area.

Pay Range: $23.70 - $35.56
