WIDE FORMAT PRESS OPERATOR

Salary: $22 - 25 Depending on Experience
About The Position
As a Wide Format Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating wide format digital printing equipment to produce high-quality graphics, signage, and display materials.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain wide format printers (Vutek, Anapurna, Epson) to produce signs, banners, vehicle wraps, wall graphics, and other large-scale products.
- Set up print jobs according to job tickets, including loading media, adjusting print settings, and verifying artwork alignment.
- Inspect all printed materials for quality, color accuracy, and correct sizing before moving jobs to the finishing stage.
- Perform regular maintenance on printers and troubleshoot basic equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain clean and organized work area.
- Assist with finishing tasks such as trimming, laminating, and packaging when needed.
- Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
Position Requirements
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Related Experience
- 2+ years of experience operating wide format digital presses
Required Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable using hand tools and operating finishing machinery
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a face-paced environment
Physical Demands
- Frequent reaching/stretching, bending, twisting, pulling/pushing, and stooping as required to service the machine
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds
