Job summary

PDS Defense, Inc. in Wichita, KS is seeking a Commercial Wide Body Aircraft Painter to support production through painting, etching, polishing, and surface prep. The role requires standing for 8 hours, passing a respirator test, and readiness for 2nd shift with possible overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Topcoat Caliber experience required.
• Selected workers will work 2nd shift primarily and may be scheduled for OT/weekends.
• Must pass a respirator test and be able to stand for an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Paint aircraft details and perform priming and finishing to engineering tolerances.
• Set up and test electrical/mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic assemblies as needed.
• Perform metal etching, polishing, engraving and related surface prep tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety and background checks and Boeing re-hire requirements where applicable.
