Wicker Point Golf Club in Alexander City, AL, seeks a part-time Outside Golf Services Professional & Caddie to warmly welcome members and guests, assist with bags, carts, and equipment, and help maintain the course and practice areas. This role blends customer service with operational duties to ensure a seamless guest experience.

You will support tournament setup, range operations, and event needs, while staying professional around all clubhouse and course areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional welcome to members and guests upon arrival.
• Assist members and guests with golf bags, golf carts, equipment and other service needs.
• Stage and maintain golf carts, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for play.
• Deliver high levels of personalized service while anticipating member needs.
• Develop relationships with members, guests, and staff.
• Maintain a professional presence around the clubhouse, cart staging area, bag room, and golf course.
• Assist with tournament/event setup, including cart prep and bag staging.
• Assist with range operations and practice facility setup.
• As needed, serve as forecaddie on the course for groups; minimum forecaddie pay is $200 per foursome with cash.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated, service-oriented Outside Golf Services Professional staff member to join our golf operations team. This part-time position is an excellent opportunity anyone that loves golf and enjoys working with members and guests to deliver an amazing experience from start to finish while playing an integral role in the day-to-day operation of the golf facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional welcome to members and guests upon arrival.
• Assist members and guest with golf bags, golf carts, equipment and other service needs.
• Stage and maintain golf carts and ensure they are clean, properly stocked, and ready for play.
• Deliver a high level of personalized service while anticipating member and guest needs.
• Develop position relationships with members, guests, and fellow staff members.
• Maintain a professional presence around the clubhouse, cart staging area, bag room, and golf course.
• Assist with tournament and event setup, including cart preparation, bag staging, and other operational needs.
• Assist with range operations and practice facility setup.
• As needed, serve as a forecaddie on the golf course for groups that are playing. The minimum for a foursome is $200 and is paid directly to the forecaddie with cash!

Qualifications

• Golf knowledge and general knowledge of a golf operation is strongly preferred.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and varying shirts as required by the golf operations. *A commitment to working 6 days a month is required*
