Job summary

Fox Hill Country Club Ltd. is seeking an Outside Services team member for our Golf Operations. You will assist with bag handling, cart staging, and daily play preparation, ensuring a high level of hospitality for Members and guests.

Responsibilities include cart care, fleet management, driving range upkeep, and collaboration with the Golf Shop and other departments to support daily operations. Flexible hours include early mornings, weekends, and holidays; full/time and part-time options

• Ensure smooth transitions from arrival through play and after rounds.
• Support tournaments, outings, events, and club functions.
• Prepare, stage, clean, and maintain golf carts to club standards.
• Inspect carts for cleanliness and operational concerns; report issues promptly.
• Maintain an organized cart barn and staging area; ensure carts are charged or fueled.
• Assist with cart rotation and fleet management.
• Maintain driving range and practice facilities cleanliness and organization.
• Collect, wash, organize, and replenish range balls and supplies.
• Collaborate with Golf Shop and other departments for daily operations.

About the Position

We are seeking a friendly, service-oriented, and dependable Outside Services employee to join our Golf Operations team. As an integral part of the Member and guest experience, this individual will help deliver the exceptional level of service, attention to detail, and hospitality expected at a premier private golf club.

The Outside Services employee is often one of the first team members Members and guests encounter upon arrival and one of the last they see before departing. This role requires a genuine passion for hospitality, a proactive approach to service, and pride in maintaining the high standards of the club.

Key Responsibilities

Member and Guest Experience

• Welcome Members and guests with a warm, professional, and engaging demeanor
• Assist with golf bag handling, cart staging, and preparation for daily play
• Anticipate Member and guest needs and provide thoughtful, personalized service
• Ensure a seamless transition from arrival to the first tee and upon completion of each round
• Respond to questions and requests promptly and courteously
• Support tournaments, golf outings, Member events, and special club functions

Golf Cart Fleet and Cart Barn Operations

• Prepare, stage, clean, and maintain golf carts to ensure they are presented to club standards
• Inspect carts for cleanliness, damage, and operational concerns, reporting issues promptly
• Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient cart barn and staging area
• Ensure carts are properly stored, charged or fueled, and ready for daily use
• Assist with cart rotation, equipment organization, and daily fleet management

Practice Facility and Golf Operations

• Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of the driving range and practice facilities
• Collect, wash, organize, and replenish range balls and related supplies

Keep outdoor golf operations areas clean, orderly, and inviting

Assist with daily opening and closing procedures

Collaborate with the Golf Shop and other departments to support efficient daily operations

Professionalism and Teamwork

• Represent the club with professionalism, discretion, and a positive attitude
• Maintain a polished appearance and adhere to club dress and grooming standards
• Communicate effectively with Members, guests, colleagues, and supervisors
• Follow club policies, operating procedures, and safety standards
• Perform additional duties as needed to support the Golf Operations team

• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules based on golf operations
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions and perform the physical requirements of the position
• Previous experience in a private club, golf course, resort, or hospitality environment is preferred but not required
