Job summary

The Vermont Department of Health is seeking a Nutritionist III for the Springfield District Office to lead WIC program operations and provide direct nutrition services to families in southern Windsor and northern Windham counties.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nutrition, nutritional sciences, community nutrition, clinical nutrition, dietetics, or public health nutrition with supervisory or leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree in nutrition-related field with 3+ years in public health nutrition including supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, mentor, and support WIC staff in a collaborative team environment.
• Oversee administration, quality, and continuity of district nutrition services per federal and state guidelines.
• Provide direct nutrition services to WIC families and assist with day-to-day program operations.
