Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a WIC Coordinator to oversee the WIC program and provide nutrition services to patients and clients. You will coordinate reporting, staff supervision, and program development to meet community needs.

The role requires nutrition expertise, RD credentials, and experience with WIC and diverse populations. A bilingual Spanish/English ability is preferred, with a strong focus on community outreach and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Preferably a degree in nutrition from an accredited college or university.
• Approved hospital dietetic internship or equivalent training.
• Must maintain current RD credentials and licensure where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates WIC Program, including reporting and monthly statistics.
• Plans nutrition consultations and educational opportunities for staff and Sea Mar clients.
• Supervises WIC Nutritionists, Assistants, and Clerks; conducts regular staff meetings.
• Provides nutrition assessments and care plans for high‑risk clients.
• Participates in outreach and liaison activities with referral agencies.
