Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Nutrition Assistant Certifier I to manage WIC participant enrollment, orientation, benefit delivery and file maintenance. The role includes basic nutrition education and referrals, with bilingual English/Spanish communication as a requirement.

The position is full time in Washington, with an hourly wage of 22.28 USD and a comprehensive benefits package. The candidate should be able to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High School or GED diploma; one year WIC Clerk experience desired.
• TB test annually; Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Completion of the Minimum Paraprofessional Competencies within WIC/Nutrition Policies and Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Enroll, terminate, orient and deliver benefits to WIC participants.
• Maintain WIC charts and program records; assist with clerical and statistical work.
• Provide nutrition education and refer clients to health or community services.
