Making Opportunity Count (MOC) is seeking a Nutritionist to deliver WIC nutrition care to applicants and participants across multiple sites in Massachusetts. You will assess needs, provide counseling, tailor food packages, and support breastfeeding within a family-focused program.
The role requires culturally competent, multilingual, trauma-informed care and thorough documentation in the WIC data system, with collaboration across health and social services to promote child and maternal health.

Position Overview:
The Nutritionist is responsible for providing nutritional care to applicants and participants. WIC provides supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income mothers, infants and children up to age five. The WIC program also provides free classes on infant feeding and encourages breastfeeding by connecting breastfeeding moms to peer counselors.

Compensation:
A salary within the range of $24.52 - $33.17 per hour will be provided to the successful candidate having met the minimum requirements for the position consistent with the MOC compensation philosophy.
