The Taney County Health Department in Branson, Missouri is seeking a full-time WIC Nutritionist (40 hours/week) to join the WIC Program. You will provide nutrition and breastfeeding education, assess needs and eligibility, and maintain participant records while supporting the agency’s mission and values.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Public Health Nutrition, Dietetics, Home Economics, or a related field with 15+ semester hours in food and nutrition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Nutrition, Dietetics, Home Economics, or closely related field with at least fifteen (15) semester hours in food and nutrition.
• WIC experience preferred but not required.
• Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) or International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Provides nutrition and breastfeeding education to WIC participants.
• Assesses nutritional needs and certification eligibility.
• Determines income eligibility and maintains participant records.
• Assists with grant activities and delivers exceptional customer service.
