Job summary

Lane County WIC seeks a compassionate Nutritionist/Dietitian to support the Women, Infants, and Children program. You will provide individualized nutrition assessments, counseling, and education to families with diverse needs, and promote breastfeeding and healthy infant feeding practices.

You will collaborate with healthcare providers and community partners to coordinate services, develop care plans, and empower families toward lifelong healthy choices in a supportive public health setting.

Qualifications

• Two years of increasingly responsible experience in nutrition or dietetics.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nutrition assessments, counseling, and education to WIC participants.
• Support prenatal, postpartum, infant, and child nutrition needs.
• Promote breastfeeding and healthy infant feeding practices.
• Develop nutrition care plans and provide follow-up for complex cases.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and community partners to coordinate services.
