Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics and either a Master's degree or RD credential.
Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience in WIC, public health nutrition, or community health programs.
Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating WIC program services and operations.
Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local WIC regulations.
Oversee participant certification, food benefit issuance, and service delivery.
Monitor caseload reports, dual participant and other program required reports as needed.
Prepare and submit required reports to the WIC Director, Agency management and State WIC Office.
Supervise clerical staff, breast feeding staff and Certified Professional Authorities (CPAs).
Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity monitoring, and leave approvals.
Provide coaching, technical assistance, and performance oversight.
Ensure efficient operations across all WIC sites.
Develop and conduct staff training on WIC certification, nutrition policies, regulations, and program updates.
Coordinate in-service education on nutrition counseling, breastfeeding, infant feeding, and participant education.
Attend state and local nutrition meetings and provide follow-up training to staff.
Ensure staff competency and adherence to program standards.
