Job summary

The Resource Connection of Amador and Calaveras Counties is hiring a bilingual Spanish-speaking Nutrition Aide for its WIC program. The front desk role greets participants by phone or in person and provides friendly, reliable support in a busy community health setting.

The position is full-time, requiring travel three days a week between Calaveras and Amador counties, with standard hours Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Salary ranges from $16.90 to $23.00 hourly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency required.
• Minimum one-year office experience handling multi-line phone system.
• Basic knowledge of computers including word processing, spreadsheets, email and Internet use.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Successfully complete 40 hours of breastfeeding training within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greeting participants by phone or in person at WIC sites as the first point of contact.
• Travel three days a week with staff to off-site locations in Calaveras and Amador counties.
• Support nutrition program operations and scheduling.
• Assist with administrative tasks and data entry.

Job description

The Resource Connection of Amador and Calaveras's Women, Infants and Children Program is looking to hire a bilingual Spanish speaking (Preferable) front desk Nutrition Aide who is friendly, reliable, hard-working, and enthusiastic about helping others.

Our Nutrition Assistant will be the first point of contact greeting participants either by phone or in person at various Women, Infants and Children, WIC sites. Our Aide will travel three days a week with other staff to off sites, in Calaveras and Amador counties.

Full-Time Position: Monday - Thursday 8:30am to 5:00 pm

Pay Range: $16.90 - $23.00
