Job summary

Meridian Health Services is seeking a Qualified Dietitian for our WIC Offices in Randolph and Jay Counties, Indiana. Role requires travel within counties up to 40% and work on specific weekday schedules.

You will provide nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals, documenting in INWIC MIS, and collaborating with local health partners to improve community nutrition outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian credential or eligibility to sit for the CDR exam.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or Nutrition Sciences.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Display a positive reflection of the Indiana WIC Program in clinic and community outreach.
• Develop working relationships with staff and partnering agencies.
• Provide breastfeeding support and education within the clinic’s scope.
• Document assessments and education in INWIC MIS system.
• Schedule appointments and manage nutrition education contacts.
• Lead group education classes and maintain related records.
