Job description

The State of Wisconsin DCF is looking for one (1) .NET Web Developer III.

*MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE TO WISCONSIN FOR THIS POSITION*

Top Skills: (8+ years)
  1. JavaScript & JQuery – strong technical mastery is mandatory
  2. .NET MVC with C# and .NET CORE
  3. Full stack development
  4. Entity Framework
  5. Strong knowledge and experience with SQL Server database
Nice to have skills:
  • Experience with Crystal Reports or MS Access-based applications

Additional details:

  • Phone and web-based interviews will be acceptable, but an in-person interview may be required.
  • Interviews will be scheduled shortly after the posting closes.
  • Must provide three (3) business references for the interview, including one supervisory reference.

  • Candidate MUST be physically located in the United States; international candidates/phone numbers are not accepted.

  • Availability to work during CST business hours (9:00 am – 3:00 pm or as defined by the hiring manager) is required.

  • Must be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI at their own expense prior to starting.
  • The role is 90-100% remote, with potential onsite requirements with sufficient notice.

The candidate will join an existing team working closely with program stakeholders to gather requirements, design, develop, test, and deploy web applications. The work involves ongoing project and maintenance tasks, including .NET MVC transitioning to .NET Core, heavy use of JavaScript, jQuery, C#, Entity Framework, Kendo UI, WebAPI, n-tier architecture, and SQL Server.
