The WHSE Material Handler II plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of materials within the warehouse environment. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products in a timely manner to support production and operational needs. The role requires close coordination with inventory control and logistics teams to maintain accurate stock levels and ensure proper documentation. The Material Handler II will also be involved in maintaining a safe and organized warehouse space, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies. Ultimately, this position contributes to the overall supply chain effectiveness by facilitating smooth material flow and minimizing delays.
The required skills enable the Material Handler II to efficiently manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in daily operations. Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is essential for safe and effective material movement. Computer skills, including the use of warehouse management systems, support accurate tracking and documentation of inventory. Preferred skills such as forklift certification and experience with RF scanning enhance operational efficiency and safety compliance. Strong organizational and communication skills facilitate collaboration with team members and help maintain a well-structured warehouse environment.
