Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily cannabis production and post-harvest activities according to established procedures.
• Prepare work areas, equipment, and materials for production.
• Handle cannabis and cannabis-derived products carefully to maintain product quality and consistency.
• Perform trimming, sorting, weighing, processing, and other production tasks as assigned.
• Operate production equipment safely after receiving appropriate training.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary production areas.
• Follow established sanitation, safety, and quality-control procedures.
• Accurately weigh and package cannabis products according to specifications.
• Apply required labels, lot/batch information, tracking information, and other required packaging materials.
• Inspect finished products and packaging for accuracy, quality, and compliance.
• Maintain accurate production and packaging records.
• Identify and report damaged, contaminated, mislabeled, or otherwise nonconforming products.
• Receive, count, organize, and store cannabis products and production supplies.
• Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate inventory and tracking records.
• Prepare completed orders for authorized distribution.
• Verify product quantities, packaging, documentation, and order information before release.
• Assist with loading and staging products in accordance with company procedures.
• Follow all applicable requirements governing cannabis transportation and distribution.
• Follow all applicable cannabis laws, regulations, facility procedures, and company policies.
• Accurately complete production, inventory, sanitation, waste, and distribution documentation.
• Use the company's inventory/seed-to-sale tracking system as required.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding products, operations, customers, vendors, and company information.
• Immediately report compliance concerns, inventory discrepancies, safety incidents, or product-quality issues to management.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
• Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Properly handle and dispose of cannabis waste and other production waste.
• Report equipment problems, hazards, injuries, or unsafe conditions promptly.

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Cannabis Production & Distribution Technician to support the day-to-day production, packaging, inventory, and distribution operations of our licensed cannabis facility.

• Ability to accurately perform repetitive weighing, counting, labeling, and documentation tasks.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive movements.
