Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Wholesale Fashion Sales Assistant in New York to support senior sales executives across men’s brands sold through Saks and Neiman Marcus. You will help with daily sales activities, order processing, and showroom operations to ensure smooth wholesale execution.

You will build relationships with buyers, manage showrooms, prepare market materials, and assist with weekly sales reporting while maintaining accurate inventory records.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in wholesale fashion or related non-retail fashion.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and initiative.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proactive follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing support to the Account Executive with daily sales activities and customer service initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with buyers and assistant buyers at key accounts.
• Process orders including entry, POs, and EDI transactions.
• Communicate deadlines, order updates, and time-sensitive matters with retail partners.
• Photograph merchandise for sales appointments, line sheets, and samples.
• Organize showroom samples and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Support showroom market prep, merchandising, and setup for customer visits.
• Attend showroom meetings and document key discussion points and follow-ups.
• Coordinate prep, shipment, and tracking of market materials and samples.
• Create and update Excel spreadsheets to monitor purchases, sales activity, and inventory.
• Assist with basic sales reporting, retail analysis, and calculations.
• Keep brand inventory records and seasonal reference books current.
• Compile and distribute weekly selling reports from retail partner data.
• Contribute to additional sales department projects as needed.
