Management Performance Associates is seeking a Wholesale Fashion Sales Assistant to support senior sales executives across men’s brands sold through Saks and Neiman Marcus. This role provides sales, merchandising, and administrative support to coordinate seasonal business and maintain client relationships.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in wholesale fashion, strong organization, and excellent communication.

Responsabilités

• Provide ongoing support to the Account Executive with daily sales activities and customer service initiatives.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with buyers and assistant buyers at key retail accounts.
• Process orders accurately, including entry, POs, and EDI transactions.
• Coordinate deadlines, order updates, and time-sensitive communications with retail partners.
• Photograph merchandise for sales appointments, line sheets, and sample shipments.
• Organize showroom samples and maintain inventory records.
• Assist with seasonal market prep, showroom setup, and customer visits.
• Attend showroom meetings and document key points and follow-up items.
• Prepare, ship, and track market materials and samples for retailers.
• Create/update Excel sheets to monitor purchases, sales activity, and inventory.
• Assist with sales reporting, retail analysis, and basic calculations.
• Keep brand inventory records and seasonal reference books current.
• Compile and distribute weekly selling reports from retail data.

Position Overview

A leading multi-brand fashion wholesale company is seeking a Wholesale Fashion Sales Assistant to provide sales, merchandising, and administrative support for its men's brands sold through Saks and Neiman Marcus. This position works closely with senior sales executives to coordinate seasonal business, maintain account relationships, and ensure smooth execution of day-to-day wholesale operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support to the Account Executive with daily sales activities and customer service initiatives.

• Build and maintain productive relationships with buyers and assistant buyers at key retail accounts.

• Process orders accurately and efficiently, including order entry, purchase orders, and EDI transactions.

• Communicate with retail partners regarding important deadlines, order updates, and other time-sensitive matters.

• Photograph merchandise for sales appointments, line sheets, and sample shipments.

• Organize and track showroom samples while maintaining accurate inventory records.

• Support seasonal market preparation, including showroom organization, merchandise presentation, and setup for customer visits.

• Attend showroom meetings and document key discussion points and follow-up items.

• Coordinate the preparation, shipment, and tracking of market materials and samples for retail customers.

• Create and update Excel spreadsheets to monitor upcoming purchases, sales activity, and inventory levels.

• Assist with basic sales reporting, retail analysis, and calculations.

• Keep brand inventory records and seasonal reference books current.

• Compile and distribute weekly selling reports using data from retail partners.

• Contribute to additional sales department projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in the wholesale fashion industry or a related non-retail fashion environment.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to take initiative.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to follow-up.

• Ability to manage competing priorities, stay organized, and see tasks through to completion.

• Eagerness to learn, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities.

• Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced office environment while managing multiple assignments.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with BlueCherry and EDI systems is a plus.

• A bachelor's degree in Fashion or a related field is preferred.
