Job summary

Talent With Heart is seeking a Wholesale Fashion Sales Assistant to support the men's brands sold through Saks and Neiman Marcus. You will assist senior sales executives, coordinate showroom activities, and maintain relationships with buyers.

The role involves order processing, merchandising, market prep, and accuracy in inventory and reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP/EDI systems are a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support to the Account Executive with daily sales activities and customer service initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with buyers and assistant buyers at key retail accounts.
• Process orders accurately and efficiently, including order entry, purchase orders, and EDI transactions.
• Communicate with retail partners regarding deadlines, order updates, and time-sensitive matters.
• Photograph merchandise for sales appointments, line sheets, and sample shipments.
• Organize and track showroom samples with accurate inventory records.
• Support seasonal market preparation including showroom setup for customer visits.
• Attend showroom meetings and document key points and follow-up items.
• Coordinate prep, shipment, and tracking of market materials and samples for retail customers.
• Create/update Excel spreadsheets to monitor purchases, sales activity, and inventory levels.
• Assist with basic sales reporting, retail analysis, and calculations.
• Keep brand inventory records and seasonal reference books current.
• Compile and distribute weekly selling reports using data from retail partners.
• Contribute to additional sales department projects and initiatives.

• Familiarity with BlueCherry and EDI systems is a plus.

• A bachelor's degree in Fashion or a related field is preferred.
