Please review the following job description:

Directly and through management of support teammates, provide leadership, strategic direction, and tactical processes for policy and process related to wholesale risk rating. Serve as Moody's Risk Origin SME. Facilitate development of processes, training, and communications. Act as model owner for key wholesale credit models. Assist in developing and maintaining Wholesale Risk Policies and Procedures.

**This role is fully remote**

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  1. Represent Risk Management Organization (RMO) and Business Units as the primary contact for IT partners and the vendor manager for the MRO scorecard application. This includes attending review meetings, prioritizing change requests, and planning for releases.
  2. Manage ongoing governance and monitoring for wholesale risk rating models, including outcomes analyses and governance reporting such as monitoring of overrides. Partner with Model Development for scorecard performance analytics. Coordinate and prepare quarterly Credit Risk Management Committee (CRPC) Ongoing Governance and Monitoring (OGM) reporting.
  3. Serve as owner for key risk rating models, including providing user support, maintaining documentation, and reviewing and interpreting outcomes analysis.
  4. Act as liaison between Model Development and business units regarding risk rating models.
  5. Develop and maintain process documentation and training materials. Coordinate with training partners to deliver and communicate these materials.
  6. Assist Model Development with 'Fit For Use' and segmentation analysis.
  7. Manage the Risk Rating Group (RRG) site and internal SharePoint/folders.
  8. Serve as the RRG data steward.
  9. Contribute to talent development and retention.
  10. Assist the Wholesale Policy team in developing Wholesale Policies and Procedures as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Statistics, or related field.
  • Ten years of experience in the commercial banking industry or related work experience.
  • Experience working with commercial risk rating models.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
  • Strong knowledge of systems related to wholesale risk ratings.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and facilitation skills.
  • Understanding of Basel Accord and U.S. regulatory framework regarding Wholesale ratings.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of basic statistical analysis.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project.
  • Familiarity with Truist systems.
  • Basic database experience.
  • Experience writing technical user guides.
