Job summary

Tropolis, based in The Woodlands, TX, seeking a Customer Service Representative, Assistant Underwriter & Wholesale Commercial Insurance CSR to provide underwriting support, account servicing, and admin for wholesale accounts. Reports to the President of Programs & Brokerage, joining a growth-focused team committed to excellence.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and a Property & Casualty license, with 5+ years wholesale insurance experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Property & Casualty license is required.
• Minimum 5 years wholesale commercial insurance experience.
• Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize projects and tasks per guidance from leadership to streamline workflows for Programs & Brokerage.
• Provide underwriting support and administrative tasks for wholesale accounts.
• Deliver high-touch service for wholesale commercial clients and brokers.
• Assist in servicing the full policy life cycle: quotes, binding, issuance, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, inspections, and claims records.
• Support accounting tasks: invoicing, bordereaux records, and data entry.
• Ensure compliant document management and data retention.
