Job summary

Newrez LLC is seeking a Wholesale Account Executive to manage markets wholesale and correspondent products, prospect brokers, and maintain broker relationships across designated territories. You will coordinate approvals, present our value proposition, and act as a subject matter expert on policies, products, and technology.

You will drive funding projections, collaborate on marketing strategies, and support clients through loan processing, underwriting, and closing steps.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of sales and/or real estate experience.
  • 2+ years of mortgage sales including Government and Conventional products (e.g. FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC)

Responsibilities

  • Formulate funding projections to align with wholesale and correspondent loan production targets.
  • Initial contact to prospect new mortgage brokers/bankers and coordinate broker approval process.
  • Collaborate with leadership and partners to implement marketing strategies within the territory.
  • Conduct large group presentations at broker offices to promote the company value proposition and platforms.
  • Serve as SME on company policies, procedures, products and technology.
  • Coordinate with loan operations to manage active pipeline and escalate reviews as needed.
  • Establish communication protocol with Client Relations Managers to optimize service delivery.
  • Assist clients with lock reconciliation, extensions and exceptions.
  • Explain the company’s loan processing, underwriting and closing processes to clients.
  • Provide brokers/bankers with current rate sheets and product guidelines.
  • Provide training and support on the company technology platform.
  • Grow funded loan volume market share within the designated territory and grow the approved broker base.

Primary Function

The Wholesale Account Executive is responsible for markets wholesale and correspondent products and services to prospective brokers/bankers. In addition, the Wholesale Account Executive manages established broker relations including broker approvals, education, customer service and quality management regarding process, product and technology.

Principal Duties
  • Formulate and establish funding projections/goals in conjunction with Wholesale leadership to align with Wholesale and Correspondent loan production, quality, and volume targets.
  • Performs initial contact to prospect new mortgage brokers/bankers and coordinate broker approval process.
  • Collaborates with Wholesale leadership and Corporate business partners to develop/implement marketing strategies within assigned territory/account list.
  • Conducts large group presentations at broker offices to promote Company Value Proposition and present our process, product and technology platforms.
  • Serves as subject matter expert on Company policies, procedures, products and technology.
  • Collaborates with loan operations team to manage active pipeline.
  • Escalates second reviews to appropriate Operations/Underwriting leadership.
  • Establishes communication protocol with Client Relations Managers to optimize service delivery.
  • Assists clients with lock reconciliation, extensions and exceptions.
  • Ensures that clients understand the Company’s loan processing, underwriting and closing processes.
  • Provides brokers/bankers with information to access current rate sheets and product guidelines.
  • Provides technical training and support to clients with regard to Company technology platform.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.
  • Responsible for growing funded loan volume market share within designated territory.
  • Responsible for growing approved broker base within their designated territory.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in a related discipline; Equivalent job/education experience will be considered.
  • 4+ years of experience in sales and/or real estate.
  • 2+ years of mortgage sales, including Government and Conventional products, i.e.: FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC and related guidelines.
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements
  • Knowledge of local real estate market.
  • Working knowledge of investor guidelines, underwriting policies and loan products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A good faith estimate of the compensation is: 15,080.00 - 60,000.00

Compensation for this position may also include other elements, including medical, financial, various paid time off benefits, and a bonus based on individual and company performance, variable or annual. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, location, etc.
