Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APN/CRNP) to deliver obstetric and acute care within the MEU. The APP will work autonomously and with physicians, performing assessments, developing care plans, and coordinating tests and referrals.

Requirements include a Women's Health NP certification or CNM, APN certification, and BLS; ACLS/PALS may be needed. Weekend/holiday coverage is required, with shift differentials available.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing with a Women's Health NP certification or CNM required.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement patient care plans for acute care and emergency patients.
• Ensure complete documentation of patient assessments and care plans.
• Coordinate and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
