Davita Inc. is seeking a Solderer (White Room) in Bethel, Connecticut, responsible for intricate soldering tasks and quality assurance of electro-mechanical components. The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma and a minimum of 3 years of relevant soldering experience, demonstrating strong hand dexterity and the ability to interpret technical documents.
Position Overview:
The Solderer (White Room) is responsible for soldering and reworking very small and intricate products. The ideal candidate will have exceptional hand dexterity along with a working knowledge in reading, interpreting, and utilizing technical procedures and blueprints. The individual must be comfortable working in a team environment. This first shift position is well suited for a patient individual who is a fast learner, is focused on quality output, and enjoys working in a demanding atmosphere.
In this function you will:
* Solder electro-mechanical components under a microscope and/or a magnifying glass
* Assemble, setup and maintain tooling
* Recommend design and process improvements to enhance manufacturability
* Perform visual inspection of parts
* Maintain quality records
* Interpret customer and supplier requirements
Basic Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution required
* Minimum 3 years of soldering experience
* Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
* This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications:
* One year soldering experience using a microscope

* Ability to successfully solder to the acceptability requirements of J-STD-00
