Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a White Glove Infrastructure Technician to install, integrate, test, and document enterprise networking and data center infrastructure across North America. This role emphasizes craftsmanship, attention to detail, and delivering high-quality installations to customers.

Travel is required up to 50% with nationwide assignments. You will install wireless access points, racks, cabinets, fiber and copper cabling, and contribute to as-built documentation and project

Qualifications

• Experience installing enterprise network infrastructure.
• Experience with structured copper and fiber cabling.
• Experience mounting wireless access points and network equipment.
• Ability to read floor plans, rack elevations, and installation drawings.
• Basic understanding of enterprise networking hardware.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Install and mount wireless access points.
• Rack and stack network gear including switches, routers, firewalls, servers, and storage.
• Install network cabinets, equipment racks, UPS systems, rack PDUs, and cable management systems.
• Install patch panels, ladder rack, basket tray, conduit, raceways, and cable pathways.
• Perform equipment replacements, relocations, and decommissioning.
• Install equipment per manufacturer specs and engineering documentation.
• Pull, route, terminate, and test Cat5e/6/6A and fiber.
• Maintain proper cable routing and bend radius.
• Build clean rack elevations and ensure airflow.
• Verify equipment placement against design documentation.
• Dress copper and fiber cabling to standards.
• Complete daily project reports and as-built documentation.
