Job summary

On Deck Deliveries is seeking White Glove Pro Drivers to embody the “Hardest Worker In The Room.” You will be essential for timely, safe deliveries and superior customer service, including assembly and installation when needed.

Responsibilities include pre-trip vehicle inspections, precise paperwork, and ensuring items are delivered under SLA. You’ll communicate with customers, navigate routes efficiently, and participate in ongoing training to improve processes.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background check, MVR, DOT Physical and drug screen.
• Ability to safely lift and maneuver heavy items 100+ pounds.
• Two years delivery experience.
• Must have a smartphone.
• Ability to use smartphone for routing and PODs.
• Commitment to ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a thorough pre-trip inspection of your vehicle before departure to ensure safety and reliability.
• Provide outstanding service to customers, exceeding their expectations with every delivery.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and driving regulations while efficiently navigating to destinations.
• Skillfully assemble and install delivered items at customer locations, when required.
• Complete all paperwork, including delivery logs, condition reports, PODs and customer signatures.
• Ensure items are scanned and delivered within service level agreements.
• Maintain up-to-date logbooks and comply with transportation regulations.
• Address and resolve issues during delivery to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.
• Handle returns and repackaging tasks as needed.
• Manage delivery-related debris responsibly.
• Serve as primary communication with customers during deliveries, providing updates.

Our Delivery Drivers are the backbone of our operation, responsible for not just transporting items, but also for assembly, installation, and maintaining the highest levels of customer service.
