Job summary

Qualifications

• Two or more years of felony trial experience, preferably involving white collar crime.
• In-depth knowledge of criminal law and evidentiary rules as they relate to prosecution.
• Familiarity with grand jury practice and procedure would be a plus.
• Attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Prosecute cases across Illinois from intake through sentencing.
• Provide legal advice and assistance to law enforcement during investigation.
• Evaluate cases for prosecution and initiate prosecutions as appropriate.
• Litigate grand jury matters and draft petitions for search warrants and overhear orders.
