Job summary

Agropur Cooperative in Weyauwega, WI seeks a Whey Resource Operator to perform diverse tasks in Cheese/Whey areas, including training peers and handling sanitation duties. You’ll ensure safe, compliant operations and assist in CIP and master sanitation routines.

The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced facility. The position offers a starting wage of $30.33/hour with two pay increases within a year and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience in food plant manufacturing preferred.
  • Ability to provide actionable feedback and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Train other workers on Operator tasks as needed.
  • Perform CIP, Master Sanitation items, and titrations to ensure sanitation standards.
  • Immediately report equipment/production issues to the supervisor and communicate variances.
  • Maintain a clean workplace free of safety hazards.
  • Take area samples for micro and analytical results.
  • Develop working knowledge of production and CIP circuit flows.
  • Act as Production Supervisor as needed.
  • Use PPE at all times and follow GMPs and SOPs.
