Job summary

Lactalis American Group is seeking a Supervisor for the Whey Plant in Buffalo, NY, on the 3rd shift. The role oversees plant operations, ensures product flow, and coordinates staffing and maintenance.

We pursue safety, quality, and efficiency across all processes in a dynamic dairy environment. The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma (GED) with preferred dairy science/chemistry background and relevant experience; strong communication and mechanical skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with fluid flow, liquid metering or silo rotation preferred.
• Strong computer skills and clear written/verbal communication required.
• Mechanical background helpful for troubleshooting and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee whey plant operations and ensure proper control of incoming and outgoing products.
• Maintain equipment, sanitation, product specifications, quality, and staffing as directed.
• Enforce safety rules, GMPs, and quality programs to ensure safe, high-quality food.
