Job summary

Agropur is seeking a Whey Ingredients Technical Services Intern to work with the Technical Services and Operations teams on research projects supporting whey ingredient innovation and manufacturing. Locations include Le Sueur, MN or Luxemburg, WI.

You will collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Plant Leadership to execute experiments, document results, and present final recommendations, gaining hands-on manufacturing and leadership experience.

Qualifications

Pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's in Dairy Science or related field.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

Support dairy protein and whey ingredient research through laboratory experiments, pilot testing, and plant trials.
Design, execute, analyze, and document research projects while communicating results to technical and operations teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Automation, and Plant Leadership to support project objectives.
Develop knowledge of dairy manufacturing, technical services, industry regulations, and Agropur's business operations.
Present project updates throughout the internship and deliver a final summary of results, recommendations, and lessons learned to stakeholders.
