Job summary

Agropur Cooperative is seeking a Whey Ingredients Technical Services Intern to assist in researching and managing projects that support whey ingredient innovation and manufacturing. The internship is based in Le Sueur, MN or Luxemburg, WI and is a fixed-term trainee position.

You will work with the Technical Services Manager and teams to design, execute, analyze, and document research, presenting updates to stakeholders and gaining hands-on manufacturing experience across dairy processing,

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Dairy Science, Agricultural Science, Food Science, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Research dairy protein and whey ingredient projects through lab experiments, pilot testing, and plant trials.
• Design, execute, analyze, and document research; communicate results to technical and operations teams.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Automation, and Plant Leadership to meet project objectives.
• Develop knowledge of dairy manufacturing, technical services, and Agropur's operations.
• Present project updates and deliver final summary with recommendations to stakeholders.
